I drove over to town Wednesday morning. Went straight to the beach park. Didn't bother checking because for sure the South Swell would have filled in and been pumping, Right? Not so much. I swam across the first gap, walked the shallow reefy path, was ready to put my fins back on and swim the rest of the way. Decided to wait and watch a set... and waited... and waited.

Took pictures at Kaisers from 9:30 to 11:30am. Super-moon induced low tide. Head high on the sets. Some nice inside bowls.

South swell was still serving up some fun ones at Bowls this afternoon. 3 feet on the sets and plenty rippable.

Town was showing some signs of life so I headed over early to beat the sea breeze. Sets were sparse in typical southern hemi swell fashion but there were a couple pulses of back to back head high sets that got the crew buzzing. I took pictures from 745 to 1015. waves were to 2 - 3 feet. Wind was side off and switched on shore right when I stepped on the beach coming in.
